PREMIER PARTNERS

An Evening with Comedian Michael Jr.

Michael’s entry into comedy was almost preordained. Years ago in a crowded Grand Rapids, Michigan movie theater, the projector malfunctioned. The film snapped, the house lights came on, and acting on a dare, young Michael jumped in front of the restless crowd and took center stage. When the theater manager tried to usher him out, the audience demanded he stay… and Michael Jr. discovered his gift.

Overcoming Kingdom Excuses

Ronald Blue Trust

Kingdom Advisors is partnering with the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning to create a “university track” at the 2018 Kingdom Advisors Annual Conference. The mission of the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning is to form strategic alliances with Christian organizations and institutions to advance research and education enabling Christians to make financial decisions with a biblical perspective.

The university leader track offers an opportunity for Christian higher education leaders and faculty to participate in all of the general sessions and five meals at the conference. A track of five sessions for academic leaders, faculty, and financial advisors representing university teams will allow for knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and planning for participants to envision in what ways they might collaborate with RBI via an affiliate, alliance, or center relationship.

The purposes for the RBI Exploration and Planning Working Sessions are to:

  1. Experience the Kingdom Advisor General Sessions, exhibits, and knowledge sharing with approximately 1,100 key leaders of the Christian financial planning industry from across the country.
  2. Understand the breadth of the Ron Blue Institute textbooks, courses, certificates, curriculum, tools, and programs available via an alliance or center relationship.
  3. Engage in knowledge sharing with teams from current alliance and center universities.
  4. Generate inspired ideas and means to partner with RBI in an alliance or full service center agreement, and
  5. Determine eligibility for and interest in an alliance agreement or possible RBI Center $25,000 start-up grant.

The resort is equipped with every modern convenience and a host of luxury amenities. In addition to walk-out golf, guests may choose to relax at the European-style spa, dine in one of five restaurants or enjoy the resort pools, including the 850-foot lazy river and Orlando’s only resort wave pool. Complimentary scheduled shuttle transportation is provided to all four Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. Hotel guests also enjoy complimentary in-room wi-fi.

Due to record registration for the KA Annual Conference, the Omni, including the KA room block, is sold out. Because of our sold out room block this year, we are offering complimentary shuttle service between the Omni and the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn in Davenport. Because the Comfort Inn and the Holiday Inn are next to each other, attendees staying at the Comfort Inn may walk to the Holiday Inn to catch the shuttle. For our planning purposes, please let Julie West know at julie.west@kingdomadvisors.com if you are staying at one of these three locations and would like to utilize the complimentary shuttle service. The shuttle times and contact information for the local hotels are below. Please note that the shuttle will pick up conference attendees from the Holiday Inn first and then will drive a short distance to pick up conference attendees from the Hampton Inn on the way to the Omni. If you would like to be put on the waitlist for a room at the Omni, please email Julie the dates you would like to stay. You will be notified by Julie or the Omni if a room becomes available. Thank you for your understanding. We are looking forward to you joining us at the conference this year!

KA conference attendees receive discounted parking rates at the Omni ($8 for self-parking and $12 for valet parking). Please stop by the KA Registration Desk during the conference to pick up a blue ticket to use with your parking ticket to receive the discounted rates.

Journey of Generosity
Presented by Generous Giving

A Journey of Generosity is a small group event designed to facilitate deeper discussion around the transformational topic of generosity. Why: This experience is designed to focus on your heart and not your money. We never ask for money or let anyone else ask you for money, ever. We know your journey is unique and we never prescribe what you should give to or how much you should give.

Where: This Journey of Generosity will take place at the Omni Orlando ChampionsGate hotel prior to the start of the Annual Conference.

What: At every Journey of Generosity a trained facilitator brings short videos, scriptures, and stories for the group to enjoy and discuss together. The facilitator doesn't lecture or bring answers. We believe that the message of generosity comes to life when there is informal and genuine conversation.

Attending a Journey of Generosity is being added as a requirement for the Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation. Certified Kingdom Advisor® designees will have 2 years to attend a JOG to meet this requirement. Get a head start on this new requirement by attending a JOG prior to the start of the Annual Conference.

Wednesday (2/21)
8:00am  - Breakfast and Sessions 4 & 5

Cost: $195 per person
